100 X 50 X 10.0 kg PFC Mild Steel Channel S275
The 100 X 50 X 10.0 kg PFC Mild Steel Channel S275 is a hot-rolled channel measuring 100 × 50 mm, with parallel inner flange faces so washers and plates seat flat without taper packs. Used in pairs either side of a timber member, channels form a very effective flitch arrangement without the through-bolting depth a plate would demand.

At 10.2 kg per metre, one tonne buys roughly 98 linear metres. At this weight the section is a genuine two-person lift over short distances, so it suits refurbishment work, tight access and sites without craneage. Stock grade is S275 to BS EN 10025-2; other grades are rolled to order. Certification is EN 10204 3.1 as standard, and fabricated items are CE marked under BS EN 1090 EXC 3.
Typically specified for cladding and sheeting rails, flitch beams around timber, lift shaft framing, agricultural building purlins and kerb and trench edging.
Tell us which flange face must remain clear — we set out the drilling from that datum rather than from the section centreline.
