Channel PFC

Parallel flange channels replaced the older tapered-flange channel because the flat inner faces make connections far simpler — bolts sit square, plates lie flush and no taper washers are needed. The one flat face and one open face is what puts a PFC into edge and trimmer positions where a UB is awkward.

PFC sizes are given as depth × flange width × weight per metre. Every size here has its own page carrying full dimensions, weight, area of section and surface area figures for coating estimates.
