120 x 120.x10.0 Square Hollow Section S355
120 x 120.x10.0 Square Hollow Section S355 is an SHS measuring 120 × 120 mm, combining the torsional stiffness of a closed section with faces you can actually bolt a plate to. Flat faces make connections much simpler than on circular tube: plates, cleats and brackets weld or bolt straight on without profiling.

At 34.2 kg per metre, one tonne buys roughly 29.2 linear metres. This is a mid-weight member: comfortable for a telehandler or small mobile crane, and heavy enough to carry meaningful load without doubling up. Supplied in grade S355 to BS EN 10210 / BS EN 10219, cut to your lengths and delivered worldwide. Heat numbers are traceable back to the rolling mill, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates issued against each delivery.
Typically specified for mezzanine and platform posts, portal and goalpost frames, gate and railing frames, balustrade newel posts and machinery frames and skids.
Closed sections need vent holes before hot-dip galvanising; tell us if the position is visually sensitive.
