100 x 100 x 21 kg Universal Column S355 is a hot-rolled universal column measuring 100 × 100 mm, proportioned for axial load rather than span. The near-square geometry gives a much better minor-axis radius of gyration than a beam of the same weight, which is what keeps slenderness — and therefore buckling — under control over storey heights.
