Square Hollow Section 150mm and under mop
Square Hollow Section 150mm and under mop is an SHS measuring 150 × 150 mm, combining the torsional stiffness of a closed section with faces you can actually bolt a plate to. The closed box is far stiffer in torsion than any open profile of similar weight, so an SHS post carrying an offset load twists very little.

At 35.4 kg per metre, one tonne buys roughly 28.2 linear metres. It is heavy enough to need mechanical handling on site, but light enough that a standard HIAB offload covers delivery in one visit. Supplied in grade S355 to BS EN 10210 / BS EN 10219, cut to your lengths and delivered worldwide. Heat numbers are traceable back to the rolling mill, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates issued against each delivery.
Typically specified for machinery frames and skids, canopy and pergola structures, shop-front and glazing supports, architectural and exposed columns and mezzanine and platform posts.
Mitre cuts for frames are set out here from your overall frame dimensions rather than piece lengths.
