Universal Beam Welded Flat Bar
Universal Beam Welded Flat Bar is a shop-fabricated unit, supplied complete rather than as loose sections to be assembled on site. Fabricating off site compresses the programme: the assembly is being built while groundworks continue, and the crane visit is a single lift rather than a sequence.

Light enough to be manoeuvred through existing openings, it is a common choice where a crane simply cannot reach the working face. Supplied in grade S275 / S355 to BS EN 1090, cut to your lengths and delivered worldwide. Heat numbers are traceable back to the rolling mill, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates issued against each delivery.
Typically specified for goalpost frames, welded portal assemblies, beam-and-column sub-frames, bracket and support assemblies and platform and mezzanine modules.
Lifting lugs can be welded on and removed after erection if that suits the site method statement.
